Description

Indulge in a tender and flavorful prime rib roast that transforms any meal into a celebration with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Prime Rib Roast (46 pounds)
  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 6 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 3 sprigs Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) to develop a beautiful crust.
  2. Prepare the Roast: Pat the prime rib roast dry with paper towels. Generously season it all over with kosher salt and black pepper.
  3. Add Aromatics: In a small bowl, mix minced garlic and chopped rosemary with olive oil. Rub this mixture all over the roast.
  4. Roast It Right: Place the seasoned roast on a rack in a roasting pan (bone side down if using bone-in). Roast at high heat for about 20 minutes before reducing the temperature to 325°F (163°C). Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
  5. Rest and Serve: Once out of the oven, let your prime rib rest for at least 20 minutes before carving. Serve with your favorite sides.
