Description

Warm up with this nutrient-rich Instant Pot beef bone broth, bursting with flavor and perfect for sipping or enhancing your favorite soups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef bones (marrow or knuckle bones)
  • 2 large onions, quartered
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 whole bulb garlic, halved
  • Enough water to cover ingredients (about 12 cups)
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and chop the vegetables into large chunks.
  2. 2. Sauté the Vegetables: Turn your Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add a drizzle of oil and sauté the chopped veggies for about five minutes until softened.
  3. 3. Add the Bones: Carefully place the beef bones into the pot with the sautéed vegetables.
  4. 4. Pour in Water and Vinegar: Cover all ingredients with water until just above the bones. Add apple cider vinegar to help extract nutrients.
  5. 5. Seal It Up: Close the lid of your Instant Pot securely and set it to high pressure for 120 minutes.
  6. 6. Strain and Store: After cooking, carefully release the pressure. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into another pot or bowl. Discard solids and store the broth in jars or containers.
