- 2 large onions, quartered
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 whole bulb garlic, halved
- Enough water to cover ingredients (about 12 cups)
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and chop the vegetables into large chunks.
- 2. Sauté the Vegetables: Turn your Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add a drizzle of oil and sauté the chopped veggies for about five minutes until softened.
- 3. Add the Bones: Carefully place the beef bones into the pot with the sautéed vegetables.
- 4. Pour in Water and Vinegar: Cover all ingredients with water until just above the bones. Add apple cider vinegar to help extract nutrients.
- 5. Seal It Up: Close the lid of your Instant Pot securely and set it to high pressure for 120 minutes.
- 6. Strain and Store: After cooking, carefully release the pressure. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into another pot or bowl. Discard solids and store the broth in jars or containers.
