Description

Enjoy a flavorful and easy-to-make Sheet Pan Philly Cheesesteak, featuring tender beef, colorful bell peppers, and melted cheese—all roasted to perfection for a delightful family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers (red, green, yellow), chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Your Ingredients: Slice the beef steak into thin strips if not pre-sliced. Chop the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Toss Everything Together: In a large bowl, combine beef strips, bell peppers, onions, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until well-coated.
  4. Spread It Out: Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure there is space between pieces for even roasting.
  5. Roast Away: Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender and beef is cooked through. Stir halfway through roasting.
  6. Add The Cheese: Once caramelized, layer provolone slices over the top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Serve with hoagie rolls or enjoy directly from the pan!
