Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
- 2 cups mixed bell peppers (red, green, yellow), chopped
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Prepare Your Ingredients: Slice the beef steak into thin strips if not pre-sliced. Chop the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.
- Toss Everything Together: In a large bowl, combine beef strips, bell peppers, onions, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until well-coated.
- Spread It Out: Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure there is space between pieces for even roasting.
- Roast Away: Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender and beef is cooked through. Stir halfway through roasting.
- Add The Cheese: Once caramelized, layer provolone slices over the top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Serve with hoagie rolls or enjoy directly from the pan!
