Description

Indulge in the rich chocolate flavor and moist texture of this Texas Sheet Cake Bundt Cake—an irresistible dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugar and vegetable oil until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before inverting onto a wire rack.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Add cocoa powder and mix well.
  8. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk, mixing until smooth and spreadable.
  9. Once the cake is completely cooled, drizzle the frosting over the top.
