Instructions
- In your slow cooker, combine the whole milk and heavy cream. Stir until well blended.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and granulated sugar. Mix until combined.
- Add the crushed peppermint candies and chocolate chips; stir gently to disperse evenly.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat for about 2 hours. Stir occasionally to help flavors meld.
- After cooking, stir well. For an ultra-smooth texture, blend briefly with an immersion blender.
