Description

Enjoy a warm and fluffy Pancake Sausage Casserole Bake, where sweet and savory breakfast favorites unite in one satisfying dish. Perfect for brunch or family gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (links or bulk)
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (plus more for serving)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbly. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together pancake mix and baking powder. In another bowl, beat eggs with milk and melted butter until well combined. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
  4. Gently fold the cooked sausage into the batter until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with maple syrup before baking. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares. Drizzle extra maple syrup on each piece if desired.
