- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
- 1 packet taco seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in the prepared dish.
- In a pan over medium heat, drizzle some oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, green chiles, and taco seasoning until well combined.
- Pour half of the sauce mixture over the seasoned chicken and gently toss to combine.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Transfer servings onto plates and drizzle with remaining sauce before serving.
