Description

Experience the warm, inviting aroma of garlic herb dinner rolls that are soft, fluffy, and perfect for any occasion. These rolls are a delightful addition to your meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp mixed herbs (parsley, rosemary, thyme)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water with sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Pour the foamy yeast mixture and melted butter into the dry ingredients, followed by minced garlic and mixed herbs. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Let It Rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Shape & Bake: Punch down the risen dough gently. Divide into small balls (about golf ball size), place them on a greased baking sheet, cover again, and let them rise for another half hour. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
