- 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 1 package (about 14 oz) puff pastry sheets
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
- Stir in fresh thyme and vegetable broth. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a muffin tin with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut squares to fit snugly into each muffin cup. Press squares into the muffin tin.
