- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Alternatively, place them in a zip-top bag and smash with a rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract. Mix until well-blended and resembling cookie dough.
- Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the formed balls in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up before coating.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals (15-20 seconds), stirring until smooth.
- Dip each ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing back on parchment paper. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top while still warm.
- Let set at room temperature or refrigerate briefly before serving.
