Description

A comforting dish that combines tender gnocchi with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16 oz) gnocchi (store-bought)
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms (cremini or button), sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté until golden brown and fragrant, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat slightly and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well, scraping up any bits stuck to the skillet. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss until coated in the creamy sauce. Heat together for another minute.
  6. Transfer onto plates or bowls, topping with chopped parsley for added freshness.
