- ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about three minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with milk until just combined.
- Spoon batter into prepared cupcake liners about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, pipe or spoon pastry cream into the center of each cupcake.
- Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
- Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
- Drizzle warm ganache over filled cupcakes.
