- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, prepare the cake mix according to package instructions, adding eggs and any required liquid ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Spread half of the cake batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the batter.
- Scatter fresh blueberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining cake batter over the blueberries.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter with any remaining cake mix until crumbly, then sprinkle it over the top of the assembled layers.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
