- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternating with whole milk until just combined.
- Spoon batter into cupcake liners about two-thirds full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack before frosting with your prepared buttercream.
