Instructions

- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fill each muffin liner about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk while mixing on low speed until combined. Increase speed and whip until fluffy.
- Add green food coloring to achieve your desired shade of green.
