Description

Pumpkin hummus is a creamy, autumn-inspired dip that combines the rich flavors of pumpkin and spices, perfect for snacking or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients on the kitchen counter.
  2. In a food processor, combine pumpkin puree, chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. If the hummus is too thick, gradually add water or more olive oil until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed with more lemon juice or salt.
  5. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle olive oil on top and sprinkle with additional cumin or paprika for garnish.
  6. Enjoy with pita chips, fresh veggies, or use as a spread!
