- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook until no longer pink inside (about 6-7 minutes per side). Shred cooked chicken using two forks.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of your baking dish. Layer with lasagna noodles, followed by shredded chicken, spinach (if using), more sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used up, aiming for three layers total.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to sit for five minutes before slicing to maintain structure. Serve warm with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
